Windows:

Drivers:

  • Download drivers from the link given at the bottom of the page.
  • For Windows 10/11, use built-in Windows drivers or install older drivers in compatibility mode.

Installation:

  1. Run the downloaded driver installer.
  2. Connect the printer via USB when prompted.
  3. Follow on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Network Setup:

  • The HP PSC 1215 only supports USB connectivity. Network setup is not available.

Mac:

  • Download drivers from the link given at the bottom of the page.

Setup:

  1. Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
  2. Click + to add the printer.
  3. If not detected, select a similar HP model or a Generic PCL driver.

Connection:

  • USB is the only connection method for this printer.

iOS:

AirPrint:

  • The HP PSC 1215 does not support AirPrint.
  • Use third-party apps like Printer Pro or a print server for iOS printing.
